1. Information on how to enter and on the prizes form part of these conditions.
2. Entry is only open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 16 years or over unless stated otherwise. Employees and their immediate families of Shout Preston Limited and/or Sponsor and any of their subsidiaries and/or agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter. Any such entries will be invalid.
3. The prize may be of a different specification or colour to the one pictured.
4. Entries will be deemed valid when the entrant has received confirmation of entry. During periods of high mobile network traffic this may take upto 24 hours before the user receives entry confirmation. If after 24 hours no confirmation response has been received by an entrant, an entrant should deem their entry as not received by Shout Preston Limited, and that no premium rate charges have been taken from the entrant in respect of that entry attempt.
5. In order to enter you must correctly answer the question asked with the competition and prize. Winners will be selected from correct entries received during each competition’s start and closing dates/times. Unless otherwise stated in the entry information for any competition, multiple entries are permitted.
6. Entry to the Competition is by premium rate SMS text message ONLY using the short code SHOUT followed by your answer. Charges for entering the Competition will be deducted from your available credit time if you are a pre-pay customer or appear on your monthly statement if you are pay monthly customer.
7. All entry costs are detailed along with the prize and competition question. Entry costs are in addition to entrants standard messaging cost. The total cost will therefore be dependent on your network. Neither Shout Preston Limited or any associated agents are responsible for network, telephone line or communication failures of any kind or for entries that are incomplete or incomprehensible or not received. Such entries will be void.
8. The first correct entry drawn by computer at random, after the closure of the competition, from all eligible entries will win the prize for that competition.
9. Entries must not be sent in through agents or third parties. No responsibility can be accepted for lost, delayed, incomplete, or for electronic entries or winning notifications that are not received or delivered. Any such entries will be deemed void.
10. The winner shall be notified by text shortly after the draw. The winner shall have 30 days to claim his/her prize. Failure to respond and/or provide an address for delivery of the prize may result in forfeiture of the prize.
11. Shout Preston Limited’s decision on all matters is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. Prizes are non-transferable or exchangeable. There is no cash alternative.
13. The winners may be required to participate in future publicity.
14. Shout Preston Limited reserves the right to withdraw or amend the promotion as necessary due to circumstances outside its reasonable control.
15. Shout Preston Limited (or any appointed third) may use the winner’s name and image and their comments relating to the prize for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without any fee being paid.
16. This competition shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
17. The competition will close on the receipt of 10,000 entrants. If the number of entrants exceeds 10,000 then Shout may choose to open another competition with a prize of similar value, and these additional entrants will be transferred as entrants to the new competition.
